Frozen Waterfall: On the Way to Mani Mahesh in December

Mani Mahesh is a pilgrimage destination in Himanchal Pradesh, India. The season is in the summer months but we went in December and though we could only go halfway because after that the path was covered in snow. Our reward for going in December was this frozen waterfall.

I hadn't realized that you had started a photo blog. This photo is absolutely amazing. Surprises like this are one of the rewards of trekking.

Lily, I started it recently. At least that is how it feels, when I compare it with travel tales. You are so right, and imagine we were the only two people for miles around, a real luxury in India and we are hooked to trekking.
