by the way, i have a doubt...is the background black or did u do some editing to the picture???

Arun, this was taken at night, using flash. Actually I was watering my plants and I saw this butterfly sitting quite still, oblivious to every thing. The water comes after 7.00 pm and it must have been 7.45 when I started. So the picture is a close up with a flash at night, without editing. If you view it full size you can see cobwebs too.
